How do I customize WBGT alert parameters?

There is one customizable WBGT alert parameter available:

  • Minimum Alert Time: The number of minutes the WBGT must be sustained below a heat threshold before an alert is downgraded (to "initial heat" or "safe").
ℹ️ When the WBGT reaches a worksite's initial heat threshold or high heat threshold, the alert is raised immediately. When the WBGT falls below the threshold, Zelus waits until the WBGT is sustained below the threshold for the minimum alert time before downgrading the alert (to "initial heat" or "safe").

The initial heat threshold and high heat threshold are set per individual worksite when adding a new worksite. To edit an existing worksite's threshold, see How do I edit or delete a worksite?

To adjust how long a safe WBGT must be sustained before an alert is downgraded:

  1. Go to Settings.

    The "Settings" menu option

  2. Under WBGT Settings, select Show.
